Qualifications Group Possible Outlook - there is still chance for players to book their places!
The Judges consists of Freestylers:
PWG (Sweden), MichRyc (Poland), Mark Tiernan (Ireland), Daniel Dennehy (Brazil/Ireland), Petike (Hungary), Chia Long (Costa Rica) and Murilo (Brazil)
Group 1:
FX (Hungary), NTM (Ireland), Tecnicas (Guatemala), Ramin Ghamari (Iran), Arijan (Serbia), Graeson (New Zealand), Yorok (Egypt)
with 4 out of 4 wins and 2 more qualification battles, NTM is in the lead followed by FX losing to NTM on the iconic first battle to open the tournament.
Group 2:
Timo (Germany), Palle (Sweden), Gustavo (Chile), Andreas (France), Rocky (Columbia), Jeff (Czech), Sergio (Costa Rica)
Timo was unlucky to lose a battle against Palle, Rocky aka Christian is tie with Palle, who both will meet in the battle ground today, are on the same points with all battles won each.
Group 3:
Andrew Henderson (UK), Tokura (Japan), Faruk (Austria), Aaril (Jamaica), Georgino (Bolivia), Habib (Nigeria), Fatih (Turkey)
Just like football, it's unpredictable, Tokura from Japan has to step it up losing 2 battles and winning 2 but still has a chance to book his place in the top 16. Andrew Henderson is the underdog who has surprised everyone - put your money on this guy, he's a favourite for the title with 4 out of 4 wins he is in the lead followed by Faruk Georgino and Tokura
Group 4:
Kamilo (South Africa), Brizze (Denmark), Mohammed (Kuwait), Fabio (Portugal), Wass (Algeria), Nedzad (Bosina), Magnet (Canada)
Brizze is breeaing through the qualifications, he stands first place with Kamalio (currently in 2nd place), Wass and Nedzad fighting today for 2nd place to secure their place in the finals. The tournament players has named this group, "the group of death"
Group 5:
Alex (Greece), Arthur (Brazil), Nadir (Switzerland), Baffa (Saudi Arabia), Zhura (Ukraine), Gomes (Spain), Fabian (Albania)
Another tough group, Alex has improved trememdously since the last tournament in 2008, new comer from Switzerland is holding on to 2nd place but can be scooped from Alex or Gomes.
Group 6:
Azun (Norway), Luki (Poland), Fye (Peru), Loco (U.A.E.), Wail Al-Jahandi (Oman), Kerron ( Trinidad & Tobago), Arzi ( Singapore), Butiuto (Lithuania)
Butiuto, Loco, Fye and Azri are all following Azun for 2nd place but Norway is standing tall and strong in his position! Luki currently stands 1st place
Group 7:
BevS (Australia), Daniel (Holland), Miran (Croatia), Areeb (Pakistan), Jovanny (Mexico), Reyra (Finland), Angelo10 (USA), Roman B (Latvia)
Daniel is strong in his position with 5/5 victories confirms his place in the Top 16 even if he loses his remaining battles today! Miran, Jovanny & Angleo all fight for 2nd place! It's going to interesting !
Group 8:
Jose Avalos (El Salvador), Sean (France), Soufiane (Belgium), Abdallah (Qatar), Igor Oleynik (Russia), BolaFreestyle (Panama), Rimo (Slovak Republic), Superman Saif (Maldives)
As it stands Sean, the current champion, is in 1st place and is a strong favourite for the title still! Jose is strong in second place but can be swiped from him, Panama has improved so much it's a surprise how far the level has reached in this tournament! Soufiane the ground mover is in a close shave with Jose.
Qualification day 1 has been a day full of surprises, the level of freestyle defiinatley brought the next higher level! Creativity, Style and Control !
Stay tuned, I will be reporting back to you all on this day evening

Quem imaginava o Skora perdendo pro Luki naquela final?
O Daniel é o que tem chances no grupo dele. Só isso. Chance.

Ou seja, Daniel mesmo se perder todas já está no TOP16.
